Heimdall

Guardian of Bifrost and Ever-Watchful Protector of Asgard

Heimdall, the Norse god who guards Bifrost

The Watchman of the Gods

Heimdall is the eternal guardian of Asgard, stationed at the edge of the rainbow bridge Bifrost. His duty is simple but absolute: to watch for danger and sound the alarm if enemies approach the realm of the gods.

He is famous for his extraordinary senses. Heimdall can see for hundreds of miles, hear grass grow, and needs little or no sleep. Nothing moves between the worlds without his knowledge.

Calm, loyal, and unyielding, Heimdall stands in contrast to many of the more volatile gods. He represents vigilance, order, and the boundary between safety and chaos.
