The Master Smith
Brokkr is one of the most renowned dwarf craftsmen in Norse mythology. Together with his brother Eitri, he created some of the most powerful magical items possessed by the gods.
His most famous work came about as a result of a wager with Loki, who had bet his own head that Brokkr and Eitri could not create items more wonderful than those crafted by the Sons of Ivaldi.
During the forging of these items, Loki attempted to sabotage their work by transforming into a fly and stinging Brokkr, but the determined smith persevered, leading to the creation of Mjölnir.
